A fourth-generation Montanan from Big Sandy, David Diacon brings a wealth of real-world experience to his legal practice. He earned an A.A.S in Paralegal Studies from the University of Montana in 2014 and later completed his B.A in Philosophy in 2020. In December 2022, he received his J.D from the Alexander Blewitt School of Law.
Before entering the legal profession, David worked extensively in commercial construction, trucking, and with the Montana Department of Transportation in highway maintenance, construction, and dispatch. His background in construction has proven invaluable in resolving defect disputes, and his experience in farm business law has helped clients achieve fair outcomes in agricultural divorces.
David is licensed with the State Bar of Montana and admitted to practice in Montana courts and the United States District Court, District of Montana.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking with friends and his dog, Lily.

We encourage you to consider not only a lawyer’s legal expertise but also their life experiences and approach to client relationships. These factors help you build a strong, effective partnership with your attorney.
At Hrafn Law P.C., we prioritize a client-centered approach to legal representation. Our attorneys draw from their Montana roots and real-life experiences, allowing them to relate closely to farm, ranch, and outdoor communities.
We also believe in practicing within our areas of expertise. If a case falls outside our legal scope, we won’t take it — ensuring you receive knowledgeable, effective representation without unnecessary costs.
